New Build Residential Property

This project was a detached residential new-build stone-faced property located in Brindle, near Preston. Hamilton Construction acted as the main contractor for the client on an architect supervised residential project.

Following the approval of a full planning application for the demolition of the existing detached property and the construction of a new build detached stone-faced property on the site, Hamilton Construction carried out the demolition of the existing house and construction of the new build to comply with the development constraints in the green field area. The project was constructed and completed over a 12-month period.

The overall design of the project was a traditional construction to reflect the surrounding area in order to retain the character. This was achieved through constructing a reclaimed stone outer leaf, slate roof, timber sash windows, tall chimney stacks, and a feature entrance.

The internal layout of the property included a bespoke feature central staircase, reception rooms and fitted kitchen with an orangery to the side and garages to the rear. The bedrooms and en suite facilities were based on the first floor . On the exterior area of the property, the existing grounds were maintained with the addition of a drive and car parking areas, landscaping and flagged paths through hard landscaping.

Hamilton Construction was actively involved in sourcing the traditional materials throughout this project such as the reclaimed stone, slate and oak flooring.
